The LEGO Friends Mars Space Base and Rocket (42605) is a prime candidate for a lighting upgrade. With its glowing biodome, detailed control room, and sleek rocket, the right LED kit can transform this set into a striking display piece. Currently, only one kit is on the market, but it offers two tiers with different features. Let's see what BrickBling brings to the Martian table and how it compares to the broader LED kit landscape.
Sitting as the sole option in this lineup, BrickBling's kit starts at $35.98 and focuses on illuminating the base's key zones: the biodome, control panels, and rocket details. The hardware uses modular micro-LEDs for clean concealment, and buyers can choose between a Classic version ($35.98) or a Remote version ($45.98) for added convenience. This kit is best for builders who want a straightforward, no-frills lighting solution to make their Martian base pop on the shelf.
Lighting kits and display add-ons are custom third-party accessories produced independently. They are not manufactured, sponsored, or endorsed by the LEGO Group.
