The Ferrari 499P is a stunning Speed Champions set, and a good LED kit can make it pop. We've compared the two main options: BrickBling's modular micro-LEDs and Lightailing's pre-soldered harness. BrickBling offers a clean, budget-friendly approach with individual wires, while Lightailing provides a thicker, more robust harness for a streamlined install. Your choice depends on whether you prefer fine-tuning placement or a quicker, more integrated setup.
BrickBling's kit is the budget floor at $21.98 and focuses on headlights, taillights, and underglow. It uses modular micro-wires for clean concealment, and since there's only one variant, you get the standard edition. This is perfect for collectors who love to tinker and want precise control over lighting placement.
Lightailing's kit sits at the premium ceiling of $23.99 and also lights up the headlights, taillights, and underglow. It features a pre-soldered integrated harness with thicker wires for a more straightforward install, and like the competition, it's a single standard edition. This is best for builders who want a hassle-free lighting solution that integrates neatly into their display.
Lighting kits and display add-ons are custom third-party accessories produced independently. They are not manufactured, sponsored, or endorsed by the LEGO Group.
