The LEGO City Space Command Rover 60432 is a 758-piece six-wheeled beast ready for alien terrain. But to make its cockpit glow and its lab module hum, you need the right light kit. The market for this set starts at $34.98, with only one dedicated option so far, yet it offers two distinct wiring philosophies: a budget-conscious micro-LED setup and a remote-controlled variant that upgrades playability. We break down how these kits light the rover's zones and compare the investment against the set's $84.99 MSRP.
BrickBling's kit is the only dedicated lighting option for the Command Rover, starting at $34.98 and focusing on the cockpit, lab module, and undercarriage glow. The system uses modular micro-LEDs with thin wires for clean concealment, and you can choose between the Classic ($34.98) or the Remote Control ($44.98) variant that adds a control box for toggling effects. Best for budget-conscious builders who want a no-frills illumination boost that's easy to hide.
Lighting kits and display add-ons are custom third-party accessories produced independently. They are not manufactured, sponsored, or endorsed by the LEGO Group.
