This is it, the core of the new LEGO City 60304 Road Plates set! You can see how the new plates integrate seamlessly, ditching the old baseplate system for something far more adaptable. I'm loving the details, especially the solar-powered streetlights and the clear lane markings. Building a custom city just got a whole lot more exciting with this 112-piece foundation.

Upgrade your bustling LEGO City with these lighting kits for Road Plates 60304. From budget-friendly micro-LEDs to premium modular systems, we compare two distinct approaches to brightening your intersections. Discover which kit best fits your build style and budget.
This kit sits at the premium end of the market, starting at $29.99, focusing on illuminating intersections and street segments for maximum visual impact. Its modular expansion boards offer reliable, standard-gauge connections, and since there's only one variant, you get a straightforward, high-quality setup. If you're a collector who values a polished, seamless lighting experience without added frills, this is your go-to.
LeLightGo's kit anchors the budget tier at $19.99, perfectly matching the set's cost while brightly highlighting road markings and street lamps. It uses modular micro-LEDs, a cost-effective approach that trades some robustness for affordability, and comes in a single standard edition. For newcomers to LED lighting or those on a tight budget, this kit delivers essential illumination without the premium price tag.
Lighting kits and display add-ons are custom third-party accessories produced independently. They are not manufactured, sponsored, or endorsed by the LEGO Group.
