The LEGO Ninjago Character Display 15th Anniversary 71866 is a celebration of six elemental ninjas and their master. With black and pearl gold tones and intricate gateway details, this set begs for illumination. Third-party LED kits range from $23.98 (single option) to $23.98. At 53.3% of set cost, this budget tier focuses on micro-LEDs and modular wiring, ideal for collectors who want to highlight key action areas without premium control features. Lighting zones typically include the gateway, the cherry blossom, and the display bases, but each vendor approaches the wiring differently, from pre-soldered harnesses to modular connection points.
BrickBling lands as the sole and budget-tier option at $23.98, focusing on micro-LEDs to light up the gateway, cherry blossom, and individual ninja bases. Its modular micro-wire architecture allows for discreet routing, with only a single standard edition available, so you won't have variant choices here. Best for collectors who want a straightforward, low-cost glow that respects the set's display-first design.
Lighting kits and display add-ons are custom third-party accessories produced independently. They are not manufactured, sponsored, or endorsed by the LEGO Group.
