The LEGO Fortnite Mecha Team Leader 77078 is a massive 2,503-piece set with a striking Dark Bluish Gray and Dark Pink color scheme. Lighting it up elevates the mech's presence, and the market offers two distinct approaches: a budget-friendly modular micro-LED kit from BrickBling and a premium expansion board system from Game of Bricks, ranging from $49.98 to $74.99. Each has its own wiring philosophy, so choose based on your preference for concealment versus connectivity.
BrickBling's kit starts at $49.98 (Classic) and focuses on illuminating key zones like the cockpit and weapon ports. Its modular micro-LEDs offer clean concealment, and with variants like Classic and Remote Control (the latter at $59.98), you can pick your control style. This is the best setup for collectors who want a straightforward, low-cost upgrade with the option for remote control.
Game of Bricks offers a higher-tier kit starting at $74.99 (Classic), with a focus on comprehensive lighting across the mech's torso and limbs. Their modular expansion boards use standard gauge wiring for reliable connections, and you can choose between Classic and Remote variants (the latter at $80.99). This is the best pick for enthusiasts who prioritize uniform brightness and easy expandability in their display.
Lighting kits and display add-ons are custom third-party accessories produced independently. They are not manufactured, sponsored, or endorsed by the LEGO Group.
