With prices ranging from $26.59 to $39.99, these kits offer a spectrum of wiring philosophies, from pre-soldered harnesses to modular micro-LEDs. Whether you want a simple constant glow or a sound-reactive display, there's a kit that fits your build and budget. Here’s how they stack up.
BrickBling's kit sits at the median price of $34.98, focusing on enhancing the Mandrake's foliage and pot with clean, selectable zones. Its modular micro-LEDs allow for discreet wiring concealment, and with Classic and Music variants, you can choose between a simple glow or sound-activated effects. This kit is best for builders who want a reliable, upgradeable lighting system with creative control.
Game of Bricks comes in at $32.99, offering a slightly lower entry point with a focus on the Mandrake's expressive face and vibrant leaves. Its modular expansion boards provide reliable connections and standard gauge wiring, and with Classic and Sound variants, you can add audio to your display. This kit is ideal for tech-savvy builders who value easy troubleshooting and expandability.
LeLightGo commands the ceiling price at $39.99, focusing on dramatic illumination of the Mandrake's crown and root structure. Its modular micro-LED components are budget-friendly in design but premium in price, with both Classic and Sound variants available for added effect. This kit is best for collectors who want the highest light output and don't mind investing extra for a show-stopping display.
Lightailing's kit is the budget floor at $26.59, offering a single standard edition that focuses on constant illumination of the Mandrake's key features. Its pre-soldered integrated harness uses thicker wires for a faster, more straightforward install, though it lacks sound or remote options. This kit is perfect for first-timers or those who want a no-frills, cost-effective lighting solution.
