Layered Plates for Seasonal Charm
The LEGO® Easter Egg (set 40371) is a masterclass in shaping, showcasing how simple plates and bricks can create complex curves with a fantastic stepped texture. This 239-piece build features a striking lime green base, a crisp white middle, and a bright yellow crown. What I love are the subtle floral details, where small curved slopes and wedge plates are cleverly employed as NPU for petals and leaves. It’s a delightful demonstration of how builders can evoke organic forms from angular elements, all topped off with an adorable, blocky mini-chick.
