This charming Chinese New Year set offers a canvas-like display of five horses mid-gallop, complete with a winding scroll and artist minifigures. The third-party lighting market for 80119 is currently dominated by a single budget-friendly option from BrickBling, which focuses on accenting the scroll and the horses with modular micro-LEDs. At a street price of $35.98, it matches the set's floor and median, offering a cost-effective way to enhance the dynamic scene. While the market is narrow, this kit's approach prioritizes clean concealment and simplicity, making it a thoughtful pick for collectors who want to add a warm glow without overhauling the build.
BrickBling's kit sits as the sole option and the budget floor at $35.98, focusing on illuminating the scroll and the horses' vibrant forms. It uses modular micro-LEDs for discreet placement and offers a choice between a Classic wired version and a Remote Control upgrade for added convenience. This setup suits a first-time lighting buyer who wants a straightforward, low-impact enhancement for a cherished display piece.
