At $17.98, the only kit available for the 40789 is BrickBling's modular LED system, designed to highlight the cockpit canopy, rear thrusters, and the minimalist stand's hover glow. With no remote, sound, or RGB options, this is a pure static display upgrade, offering straightforward micro-wire concealment against the set's light gray and black hull. The market is narrow, but the precision of the lighting zones makes this a focused choice for collectors wanting a subtle, steady glow.
BrickBling's kit is the only lighting option for the 40789, starting at $17.98 and focusing on the cockpit, thrusters, and stand. It uses modular micro-LEDs with pre-soldered wiring for clean concealment, and since only a single standard edition is available, there are no variant choices to consider. This set is perfect for the AFOL who wants a reliable, no-frills glow to showcase their Flying Moon Car at a price that matches the set's budget root.
Lighting kits and display add-ons are custom third-party accessories produced independently. They are not manufactured, sponsored, or endorsed by the LEGO Group.
